Bio

Rachael Pate began her music career at the age of seven studying the piano.  As a teenager, her interest in the harp was peaked by her pastor's wife bringing the harp to church to sing Christmas carols.  Her parents surprized her with harp lessons for her 14th birthday and from then on, her interest in the harp has continued to grow.  She majored in harp performance for two-and-a-half years studying under Beverly Killingsworth at Southwest Missouri State University.  While in college, she was the principal harpist of the SMSU Symphony Orchestra and she also served a couple years as the Springfield Symphony's second harpist.  After graduating with a degree in Business, Ms. Pate lived in Kathmandu, Nepal for two years and New Delhi, India for six months working with the people of those countries.  Ms. Pate loves music and loves to make people smile with her harp.
